Life Recap!

Image
Let me catch you up on my happenings! I went to Big Lots, and got all of this for $19. I love that store. One night I made chicken soft tacos with my leftover salsa and little bits of chicken we had in the freezer. They were scrumptious! My dill plant loves me as you can see.... Two thumbs up for running! I was not so energetic about an hour later... I trimmed the rose bush in the back yard, and couldn't stand just leaving all those pretty petals on the ground. These made the house smell nice for a few days. Then I dumped them out under the rose bush in the front. Looked like someone had beat it to death with all those petals everywhere. Storm moving along the west side of us as we drove home. This storm ended up hitting Edmond, Oklahoma City, and Shawnee. There was a lot of damage from the 2 tornados.  Back at the ranch, I had sunshine. Meatball decided to get out and sunbathe. Me and Weiner Dog, early on Monday morning. Sad story: I believe he had a st...

Staying sane and keeping busy

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,       he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. I have had a pretty busy spring so far. House shopping is not fun and exciting like people said. A lot of my lack of fun probably comes from my budget, and my reason for buying (may discuss later). I have set the bar really low. I know most people start out low, and increase as they browse, but not me. God gave me a budget, and I'm sticking with it. He will deliver a house to me as He sees fit. In the mean time, looking is getting boring. I say I should stay where I am because all of my stuff is already there. Speaking of stuff! I said goodbye to UgleeCouch. Thank you UgleeCouch for all your good times. Naps. Sneezes. Dog slobbers. Headaches. Wine spills. Ah.... May your next family love you as much as I have. Yesterday, as I prepared to...

Wipeout!

I'm growing tired of my iPod. I have new music on it, but it doesn't motivate me anymore. Maybe it's because I'm 'mill running and don't have to cover up my pounding feet, or maybe it's that I'm beginning to appreciate running organically. Thoughts?  Because of this, I've found something new to occupy my mind while dragging my butt through the miles: Wipeout! Hahaha! Have you ever tried to NOT laugh in a crowded gym? Tough. I'm loving watching this while working out. Before i went tonight i made sure to stretch extra good, as I've been having some calf tightness. Meatball wanted to stretch with me, as seen here... He is a much more interesting stretcher than me. After I stretched, I did another 3.1, my 4th for the week. This time may have been the easiest yet. Thats promising. ORF came with me and signed up at the gym. Now we can continue to encourage each other. Having someone go to the gym with me helps. And knowing she wants to e...
